Katherine Heigl reveals the ways that growing up within a "white bubble" changed the way she raised her adoptive multiracial family. The actress from "Firefly Lane" told a reporter that it was not important how dark her skin color was for her. However, after meeting her adopted Korean American older sister she realized the difference in the way people treated her and her. Meg was asked if she was treated differently when they were out together with their parents or in the case of going out on their own. However, she wanted to channel her anger into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4. together for thirteen years. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl who they adopted in 2012.
