April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4 in 1995. In the seventh grade, she started taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. April Lockhart penned her first song"Different" at twelve years old. The year she turned 14 was when she was devoted for a long period of her time writing song ideas and practicing the music she was playing. Soon after she began taking excursions to write with her father in NY in New York and LA. April also began incorporating various other topics relevant to the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure disabilities and teen suicide. Lockhart collaborates with popular Clean Beauty brand Ilia and also is an influencer in the lifestyle industry with her own growing following. Lockhart was never born with a left-hand, which is what makes her what she is. It's just not the full story. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not ignore the fact that she is disabled however, it doesn't focus on it. The point? The message? We each contain multitudes, that our physical and identity bodies aren't what they seem. I do not want this to determine me. I do not wish to become a disability influencer where it's the only thing I discuss because there are other elements to me. Lockhart states in video form from her residence in Nashville. The issue doesn't affect my everyday routine. I conduct the same way as I always do and have come up with my own methods to adjust. The same is true for me, and I believe that it is something to be talked about. Her journey to self-acceptance will be one that lasts for a long time, and she can be a role model in this regard. She admits that she has gone through phases of being uncomfortable with her physique and being uncomfortable wearing some clothing types that exposed her arms. Today, she wears anything she likes and uploads images of her outfits to social networks with a sense of pride. Self-love, she says, is a process. "I believe that you will ever be in that place," she said. But, this isn't common for anyone that is prone to doubts. People you associate yourself with, who know you and see inside your soul are the most important people who can remind you of the things you're worrying about.
