Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey Tautou is an eldest child out of 4. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to follow her love of theatre. It was in stark contrast her earlier ambition to become a primateologist because she adored monkeys. The rise of her as an actor in the young age was quick and marked by early success. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in an French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning the journey to become an actor. Tautou was born into an Catholic home, and was a member of the church, even though she attended school in the Institut Catholique de Paris. The modeling and acting careers of Tautou were intertwined. She became the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is often referred to as the Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work for the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. Through her photography, she concentrates on fame and the spotlight. Cameras are focused at journalists, who sat and watched her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's international recognition and popularity exploded after her appearance as Amelie Poulain's main lady in Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie. Amelie made international waves in the field of box office, and won awards around all over the world. It remains the highest grossing French language film in the US. Following this massive success, Tautou was later cast in many films such as British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
